Mr Benn meets Endgame (Beckett, not Avengers). An offbeat take on the legendary shops featured in decades of TV comedies.

Has the apocalypse happened? Very possibly, but inside Eggs Collective's shop routine reigns and it’s pretty much business as usual. Except for the fact that there aren’t any customers and the staff never leave.

Broadcast in 2019 and made in Manchester (written in the beloved Star & Garter and filmed in an empty shop on Tib Street), Smile Love It Might Never Happen was made by a crew that was 66% female.

**Nominated Royal Television Society NW - Best Comedy Programme 2019

**Nominated for inspiring innovation - Manchester Culture Awards 2019
